INNEDE POSTER COLLECTION

Collage, cultura, memoria e immagini da collezionare

About Maurizio Ortuso
Maurizio Ortuso is an Italian visual artist, author and publisher based in Sweden. For around thirty years, collage has been a central part of his artistic work.
His practice combines printed matter, photographs, newspapers, posters, advertising, typography and fragments of popular culture, transforming existing visual material into new compositions and new meanings.
Over the years, his work has developed through exhibitions, independent publishing, interior installations, public and commercial spaces, and a long dialogue between art, graphic design and visual communication.
INNEDE Poster Collection brings together this experience in a contemporary editorial form, where each image becomes both an artwork and a visual story.

About the Collection
INNEDE Poster Collection is a visual coffee-table book dedicated to collage, culture, memory, contemporary ideas and the power of images.
The collection brings together original artworks, visual compositions, posters and editorial experiments developed through the artistic practice of Maurizio Ortuso and INNEDE Edition.
Rather than following a single theme, the book moves freely between art, society, cities, cinema, design, irony, personal reflections and visual culture.
Each page is conceived as an independent visual piece, while the complete collection creates a wider narrative about images and the way they remain in our memory.

From the Artistic Archive”

Selected Work
One of more than 500 works created by Maurizio Ortuso and now held in private collections in different parts of the world.
Each work is unique, combining fragments, memory and visual culture into a new composition.

The Atelier
For many years, this atelier was the centre of Maurizio Ortuso’s artistic work.
It was a working space filled with images, newspapers, photographs, books, found materials, tools and unfinished ideas — the raw material from which collages, installations and visual projects gradually took shape.
More than a studio, it became a personal visual archive: a place where art, publishing, design and everyday life continuously crossed paths.

Many of the ideas that later became part of INNEDE Poster Collection were born from this same way of working — collecting fragments, transforming them and giving them a new meaning.

Café Fix, Stockholm
This collage wall was created by Maurizio Ortuso for Café Fix, one of Stockholm’s historic cafés.
The project was not limited to a single artwork: Maurizio Ortuso contributed to the visual identity and interior atmosphere of the space, using collage as an architectural and decorative language.
The wall became part of the café itself — a permanent composition built from images, fragments, printed material and memory, transforming an ordinary interior surface into a unique visual environment.
